Kolawole lauds APC on membership registration/ revalidation

A former federal Lawmaker in Osun State, Hon Ismaila Kolawole has commended members of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for their cooperation and support since the beginning of the ongoing party membership registration and revalidation.

The ex-lawmaker who represented Boluwaduro/Ifedayo/Ila Federal Constituency in the federal House of Representatives, commended the leadership of the APC for coming up with the idea of membership revalidation.

He said it would give those who had yet to register as new members the opportunity to do so just as it accorded the old members the opportumity to revalidate their membership.

He gave the commendation while fielding questions from journalists after he registered as member of the party at Unit 2 Iperin/Eyindi Ward 11, Ila-Orangun in Ila Local Government area of the state.

The Ila-Orangun-born politician, while assessing the performance of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in the last two years, described the governor as a magician, silent achiever and consequential administrator par excellence.

According to the lawmaker, “Governor Gboyega Oyetola has done tremendously well for the betterment of the entire people of the state.”

He added that the Governror had turned around the fortunes of the state in all ramifications, most especially in the area of welfare and security.

A one-time Private Secretary to the pioneer Chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, Chief Abdulkareem Adebisi Akande and ex member of Osun state House of Assembly enjoined the people of the state to continue to support the governor in his bid to take the state to greater heights.

He said: “I want to use this opportunity to appreciate and commend the leadership of APC for coming up with the idea of membership registration and revalidation, the exercise will assist the party to have the database and its strength in the coming gubernatorial election.

“Governor Gboyega Oyetola has done tremendously well in the last two years. The people of the state should continue to support him in order to continue to enjoy the dividend of democracy.”

Kolawole, therefore, urged those that have neither registered nor revalidated their membership to utilize the opportunity of the exercise and get themselves registered and revalidated.
