Kemi Olokode-Ayelabola, EU Coordinator for the West Africa Women Association, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, on winning the APC presidential primary ticket.
In a statement issued Tuesday, she described Tinubu’s emergence as “a strong vote of confidence in his leadership and reform agenda.” Olokode-Ayelabola said the result reflects his political experience, resilience, and commitment to national development.
She noted that despite Nigeria’s economic and social challenges, the President has continued to push policies aimed at stabilizing the economy, upgrading infrastructure, and repositioning the country for sustainable growth.

Olokode-Ayelabola urged Nigerians to rally behind the administration and place national interest above partisan politics. “Collective cooperation is essential to achieving lasting peace, unity, and prosperity,” she said, adding that Tinubu’s victory should unite APC members and citizens across ethnic, religious, and political lines.

She also congratulated Lagos Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat on emerging as the APC governorship candidate for the 2027 Lagos election. She commended party members for the peaceful conduct and solidarity displayed during the primaries.
