Friends of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva, have purchased the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms for the November 11, 2023 Bayelsa governorship election.
On Monday, a group of friends stormed the ruling APC’s National Secretariat in Abuja to pick the nomination form in honour of the Minister from the Directorate of Organization.
Sylva served as Governor of Bayelsa from 2008 to 2012.
In 2019, he was appointed as Nigeria’s Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.
