Just in: Pastor Leke Adeboye eats humble pie, begs for forgiveness

After facing a three-man disciplinary panel for calling RCCG pastors “goats”, Pastor Leke Adeboye, son of The Redeemed Christian Church of God General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has tendered an unreserved apology to the pastorate and leadership of the church

Leke had slammed pastors who refused to either hook up with last Sunday’s message by his father or went ahead to still preach another sermon after the GO’s sermon, referring to them as “goats”.

Many Nigerians had been outright outraged at Leke’s indiscretion at calling out the church pastors in such a denigrating manner.

Leke had said in his social media post: “Why would you go and preach another sermon after Daddy GO had just finished speaking and preaching? You are not a son, you are a goat sir.”

But, on Thursday afternoon, the embattled Pastor tendered an unreserved apology and begged for forgiveness.
