Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has ordered a rerun of the Zamfara state governorship election.
The court, in a unanimous decision, allowed the appeal and declared the election inconclusive.
It consequently directed the 3rd Respondent [INEC] to conduct fresh elections in Maradun LGA, Bukuyum and Birnin Magaji LGA.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Lawal winner of the March 18 governorship election.
But the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenged the victory of Lawal, who ran on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
