No fewer than 30 persons have been feared dead in Igama, Edumoga Ehaje, Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State after an attack by suspected herdsmen.
A report by The Nation said almost all buildings in Igama Community had been razed by the attackers.
As of the time of filing this report, neighbouring villagers in Ogege were fleeing their homes for fear of attack.
Senator Abba Morro confirmed the attack on the two communities in a Facebook post.
The Zone C Senator hails from Okpokwu local government area.
Benue Police spokesperson, Kate Aneene, a SP did not pick calls or respond to text messages on the incident.
