The Supreme Court on Thursday nullified the national convention of a Peoples Democratic Party faction held in Ibadan on November 15 and 16, 2025, saying it violated subsisting court orders.
The convention produced the Tanimu Turaki, SAN-led factional national executive of the party.
In a unanimous decision, the apex court held that the PDP faction proceeded with the gathering despite restraining orders barring it from doing so.
Meanwhile, the court adjourned judgment in a separate suit involving the African Democratic Congress, ADC, to 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
