The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has scheduled Saturday, June 13, 2026, for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination mop-up exercise.
JAMB Public Communication Advisor Fabian Benjamin said the mop-up is for candidates who were biometrically verified during the main exam but could not sit for it due to technical or other challenges. It also includes candidates whose results were withdrawn over infractions and those who could not be verified biometrically despite presenting themselves at their centers.
The 2026 UTME was held between April 16 and April 23, 2026. JAMB said the mop-up is the final stage of the exam and will address all outstanding cases for eligible candidates.
Affected candidates can begin printing their examination notification slips from June 6, 2026, and are advised to confirm their designated centers ahead of the date. The board stated that no further opportunity will be given to sit for the 2026 UTME after the mop-up exercise.
