The former Kogi Governor and Jakadan Sokoto, Ibrahim Idris has sent a message of congratulations to His Eminence, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar, Sultan of Sokoto on his 65th birthday.
In message of congratulations to the Royal Majesty, Jakadan Sokoto described Sultan Abubakar as father to all, irrespective of religion, tribe and cultural inclination.
He commended the spiritual leader for not only preaching religious tolerance in Islamic religion alone, but also in christianity, saying he remains a rallying point towards religious stability in Nigeria.
His ascension, according to Jakadan Sokoto, had stabilised both religious and serious national discourse, towards realising lasting peace, progress and developement in Nigeria.
He used this opportunity to celebrate with the sultanate and also extend his appreciation on his recent installation as Jakadan Sokoto by the Sultan.
Former Kogi Governor prayed for more years to the Sultan in his quest to continue to serve humanity and the society.
