Akwa Ibom State’s long-anticipated Ibom Deep Sea Port is shifting gears from planning to delivery, after Governor Pastor Umo Eno led a high-level technical session with Africa Global Logistics, AGL, in Paris on Friday, June 5, 2026.
The closed-door meeting reviewed the Technical Feasibility Report submitted by global engineering firm Worley Parsons. Focus was on financing pathways, implementation timelines, and structures to guarantee long-term sustainability.
