Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA) has nominated Hombaze African Cuisine, among the top 200 restaurants in South Africa, for the prestigious RASA Rosetta Award.
The RASA Rosetta Award is the highest honours for service excellence and overall contribution to the uplift of the restaurant industry in the country.
This was confirmed in a congratulatory message sent to the management of Hombaze African Cuisine founded by a former Southern Africa Bureau Editor of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Kenneth Ayere, by Restaurant Association of South Africa (RASA).
The nomination of Hombaze African Cuisine, founded in 2003, was quite significant because over 85000 restaurants operate in South Africa.
The nomination letter reads: “Dear Mr Ayere and the Hombaze African Cuisine Team, A Wonderful and Hearty CONGRATULATIONS to You and your incredible team have been nominated as a Finalist in the 16th Annual RASA Rosetta Awards 2022.
“You are amongst the Top 200 restaurants selected from across South Africa. We hope that this is phenomenal news for you and your staff, we have selected you to continue the legacy of the best restaurants that are being showcased in this year’s selection.
“Over the past 16 years we have been committed to creating a platform to recognise the best restaurants around the Country, elevate the industry, create awareness, and look for opportunities to create sustainability and overall upliftment.
“It is a privilege to be nominated for a RASA Rosetta Award. The RASA Rosetta Award is a prestigious award, awarded to restaurants that strive for Service Excellence and overall contribution to the upliftment of the Restaurant Industry.
