Some group of unknown gunmen suspected to be herdsmen have reportedly kidnapped a priestess and three other traditional worshippers at Ohebe Orba in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, while they were on their way to a river for rituals.
An Enugu media personality, Chijinkem Ugwuanyi, confirmed the incident via his Facebook platform.
He stated that the gunmen also abducted four other local farmers in the same village.
The kidnappers have contacted the families of the victims, initially demanding a ransom of N50 million but later reduced it to N15 million, the report said.
