The traditional ruler of Uruagu, a town in Nnewi, Anambra State, has been kidnapped, ccording to a report by anaedoonline.
The traditional ruler, Obi Charles Afam Obi, was kidnapped in Orafite on his way back from a burial ceremony.
According to the medium, the monarch was abducted after the daredevil gunmen shot sporadically at his car.
Although his whereabouts have yet to be known, the monarch’s mother, who was said to be with him during the incident, has reportedly returned to Nnewi.
An official confirmation of the incident by the Police and the State Government had yet to be issued as of the time of publishing this report.
