A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, Joe Igbokwe, claimed that his house in Nnewi in Anambra State, had been razed by Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) elements.
Igbokwe claimed the incident occurred on Sunday in the afternoon,l.
He said IPOB members were behind the arson.
Igbokwe wrote on his verified Facebook page: “IPOB invaded my house in Nnewi about now. I am sure they razed down my house given the jerrycans of petrol I saw being offloaded from their Sienna car via CCTV. To God be the glory. Iam still alive. My Study is my greatest regret.”
