The rumoured presidential aspiration of Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), has unravelled in Lagos.
A group, The Green Alliance (TGA), converged on Lagos on Saturday, February 12, 2022 with supporters to unfold the political aspiration of the CBN Governor.
Although, it could not be immediately confirmed if the group got the nod of Emefiele to do it or whether it did it to force him to give the idea a thought, there were unconfirmed reports that Emefiele’s purported presidential project is being supported by corporate Nigeria.
The supporters were spotted wearing T-Shirts inscribed with “MEFFY 2023” with the party logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
