The late gospel singersFour gospel singers whose names are Evangelist Ayodeji Kekerejesu, Evangelist Iyanu Joseph, Monjolajesu Oluwapamilerin and Opeyemi Adesina have died in a fatal car accident that occured on the Ikorodu-Sagamu road in Ogun State.
The Ogun State Commander and Public Information Officer for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okupe, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, April 6, 2025.
Okupe explained that the accident occurred when two vehicles collided, and while the FRSC rescue team was performing the rescue operation, another vehicle crashed into them due to brake failure.
She said that the gospel singers who were from the same family, were in one of the two vehicles that collided and they died instantly on the spot.
Okupe offered her condolences to the families of the bereaved and urged drivers to avoid overspeeding.
