Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Flutterwave Inc., Oneal Bhambani, has resigned from the Africa’s largest startup.

His exit is coming less than two years after joining the payment company.

Bhambani, a former American Express executive, in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday, disclosed his exit from Flutterwave last week.

He said he will be going to India where he is “taking a breath to reconnect with old friends and colleagues”.

Flutterwave is a Lagos and San Francisco-based financial technology company.

The startup is currently preparing for an initial public offers amid allegations of financial impropriety in Kenya.
