Edo 2024: Izibili congratulates Okpebholo on primary election victory

Abuja-based lawyer and All Progressives Congress (APC) ward leader in Ugbegun, Esan Central Local Government Area, Edo State, Barr. Esezebor Emmanuel Izibili, has sent a congratulatory message to Senator Monday Okpebholo (aka Akpakomiza), who was on Thursday elected the Edo governorship candidate of APC in the September 21, 2024 election in the state.

In the primary election chaired by the Cross Rivers State Governor, Bassey Otu, Okpebholo was declared winner, beating his closest rival Dennis Idahosa to clinch the gubernatorial ticket.

Izibili, who is a Notary Public and Worthy Advocate Knights of St. Mulumba (KSM) Nigeria, extended his warmest congratulations to Okpebholo on his resounding victory.

“Your triumph is a testimony, to your unwavering dedication, examplary leadership qualities and the overwhelming support of the APC members across the state.

“I want to express deepest appreciation to all the APC members for their unity and unwavering support through the primary election process. Your solidarity and commitment have play significant role on Senator Akpakomiza’s success, and I urge you all to remain united as we move forward the main election,” he said.

Izibili, while commending Akpakomiza for his exceptional leadership qualities and his genuine desire to serve the people of Edo State, noted the victory was well deserved.

He advised the Senator to continue to uphold the values of integrity, transparency and accountability “as you lead our great party into the forth coming election.”

Izibili stated further: “As you embark on this new chapter in your political journey, I wish you the very best ot luck.
