Nigerian lawyers returning from the annual general conference of the Nigerian Bar Association have been involved in a car accident.
In a post by Akwa Ibom-based senior lawyer, Eyibio Okon, the lawyers sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospital.
The post reads “Our colleagues from Ikot Ekpene Branch returning from the conference in Abuja have been involved in a serious accident in Enugu. We have been told that 5 lawyers have been seriously wounded and have been taken to the hospital.
“Policemen at the spot said the accident was as a result of brake failure.
“Please pray for their speedy recovery.”
