The Federal Character Commission (FCC) has conferred the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) with an award in appreciation of the Corps’ continuous cooperation to the Commission towards achieving its mandate.
According to the Corps Public Education Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps Headquarters, Abuja, Assistant Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem, the honour was presented by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Dr Muheeba Dankaka, during the maiden edition of the FCC award held on Monday, in Nikon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.
Dr Muheeba stated while presenting the award that the Federal Road Safety Corps had been a dependable and reliable ally and had proved that through the continuous support the Federal Character Commission received from the Corps at all times.
Reacting to the honour, the Acting Corps Marshal, Dauda Ali Biu appreciated the Commission for its stand towards equity in public service and stated that the award is a call to do more.
He assured the public of the Corps’ readiness to extend its hands of collaboration to other organizations, both in public and private sectors in order to make the roads safe for all to use.
