The formidable grassroot politician, great political mobilizer, Otunba Olusegun Ayodele Fanibe (Oko-Arugbo) has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (Jagaban Borgu) on his emergence as the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 presidential election.
Otunba Fanibe who is the Chief Coordinator Tinubu Support Organisation, Osun State stated this in a congratulatory message to the front line politician made available by MacDonald Oladipo, Director, Media and Publicity, Tinubu Support Organisation, Osun State in Abuja.
He said, “I’m extremely happy that God crowned our principal’s efforts as he wins the primary election of All Progressives Congress landslide.
In the art of politics and politicking, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is to be reckoned with because of his nation’s building philosophy.
Fanibe, who is the founder and financier of Kajola-Kajolowo his socio-political group with thousands of followers said, I sincerely want to appreciate the Northern Governor Forum for their spirit of sportsmanship which is centred on the tripod of unity, peace and cohesion, to galvanise and ensure that politics of inclusion and not exclusion is play in the country.
“On this note, I want to appreciate the President for his pivotal role by not anointing any candidate but preached that the best should emerge in a free, fair and transparent election to promote intra party cohesion.
“To all the contestants, they are eminently qualified but the arbiter of the election who are the Delegates have abiding faith in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Fanibe said, this is just the first phase as the second phase is scheduled for general election 2023 when they would face the opposition party, but I know surely, APC will triumph.
He urged party members to starts mobilizing for the next general elections now and implore those who are yet to collect their PVC to please do so.
Otunba Olusegun Ayodele Fanibe appreciates Senators Godswill Akpabio, Borrofice Ajayi, Ibikunle Amosun, Alhaji Badaru Abubakar, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Hon. Dimeji Bankole and the only female aspirant, Barr.(Mrs.) Uju Kennedy for their convinction and believe in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu defeated 13 presidential aspirants to clinched the party’s ticket with 1,271 votes while Hon. Rotimi Amaechi had 316 votes, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo got 235 votes, Sen. Ahmad Lawan garnered 142 votes, Sen. Sanni Yerima, 4 votes, Sen. Ben. Ayade, 37 votes, Engr. Dave Umahi had 38 votes, Dr. Ogbonaya Onu had 1 vote, Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba also had 1 vote.
