Family surprises Agba with 60th birthday shindig at ICC in Abuja (Pictures + Video)

The crème de la crème of Nigerian society converged on the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, on Saturday night, to be part of the 60th birthday shindig organized by Princess Catherine Orobosa Agba and her children for their husband and father respectively, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, CON, and immediate past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning.

Although, Agba’s 60th birthday happened on March 28, 2024, this special package, which was put together as a gesture of surprise for the celebrator, was in a class by itself- exquisite- with a carefully selected carte du jour that satisfied the culinary appetite and delight of guests.

Agba’s very rich citation was read on the occasion and as a Reggae afficionado, he also took the stage to sing and dance to three of his favourite Bob Marley songs.

The occasion was witnessed by equally, carefully selected guests, including Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Phillip Shaibu, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Mr Boss Mustapha, former Minister of Transport, Hon Rotimi Amaechi, former Minister of State for Power, Prince Goddy Jeddy Agba, former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, former Minister of Sports and Youth Development, Chief Sunday Dare and his wife, Yeye Kemi Dare, former Secretary to the State Government in Edo, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Engineer Chris Ogiemwonyi, Managing Director of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority, Engineer Saliu Ahmed, Statistician General of the Federation at the national Bureau of Statistics, Prince Semiu Adeniran and a host of others.
