Esan Central APC suspends Inegbeniki, eight others for anti-party activities, as Oyaziwolo expresses shock at actions of suspended leaders

Hon. Bello Oyaziwolo, the acting Leader of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Esan central local government area of Edo state, has expressed shock at the way some APC Leaders in Esan central local government area betrayed the party in the last Edo state House of Assembly, EDHA, and House of Representatives elections that held on Saturday the 18th of March, 2023.

Oyaziwolo spoke against the backdrop of the reported suspension of the Leader of the party in Esan central local government, Chief Francis Inegbeniki and eight others, for their role in the poor outing of the party in the March 18 polls.

He said the action of the suspended leaders was a total betrayal of trust and a display of lack of integrity by the leaders.

Hon. Oyaziwolo, who spoke with newsmen shortly after he was made the acting leader of the APC in Esan central local government area, stated; “…for you to have emerged as the leader of a group, it is believed that you have a proven, tested and trusted integrity; but for such person to stoop low, just because of some present pecuniary benefits, leaves much to be desired…”

Oyaziwolo promised to discharge his leadership role in Esan central local government area chapter of the APC with utmost dedication.

He added that: “…Esan central All Progressive Congress, was very confident of winning the just concluded Edo state House of Assembly, and House of Representatives elections, until our leaders sold out.”

It will be recalled that nine leaders of the All Progressives Congress, in Esan central local government area, who were accused of working against the party in the just concluded EDHA and House of Representatives elections were, on Monday, 20th March 2023, suspended, and a five-man panel was set up to investigate the accusations levelled against them.
