The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has expressed deep sympathy over the death of Mr Kunle Sulyman, a lawyer and politician.
This is contained in a condolence message issued by the Emir’s Press Secretary, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, made available to newsmen on Friday in Ilorin.
The Emir condoled the Governor of Kwara, Malam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, over the great loss.
Sulu-Gambari described the incident as the will of Almighty Allah, stressing, “the deceased was a grassroot political icon and legal practitioner, deeply connected to the downtrodden in the society.
“He was known for his numerous contributions to grassroots and community engagements, inspiring roles towards the advancement of the ideals of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara and humanity in general,” Alhaji Sulu-Gambari said.

The Emir also extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate and extended family members of the deceased, especially Kwara Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Senior Ibrahim Sulyman.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari prayed to Almighty Allah to comfort the families, forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, accept his good deeds and admit him into Al-janatul Firdaus.
