The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a screening committee to screen aspirants for the June 18, 2022 Ekiti State governorship election.
In a press statement by the outgoing National Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbondiyan the party said members of the screening committee are Sen. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, Chairman, Amb. Mrs. Fidelia A. Njeze, Mrs. Sarah Ochekpe, Arch. Rev. Benson Ezem and Chief Rahman Owokoniran (PDP South West Zonal Secretary) as member/secretary.
It added that the screening exercise has been scheduled for Monday, November 8, 2021 at the NWC Hall of the PDP national secretariat, Abuja at 10 am.
The party called all aspirants, critical stakeholders and members of in Ekiti state to be guided by this statement accordingly.
