Osun State Ministry of Information and Civic Orientation has observed inter-religious service to seek God’s intervention in the affairs of the state and that of the ministry to have a prosperous New Year 2022.
In her words of admonition during the prayer session held at the ministry’s board room, Abere, the coordinating Director in the Ministry, Mrs.Bukola Aderibigbe, who represented the Commissioner, Mrs Funke Egbemode appreciated members of staff for their support in the previous year.
She solicited continuous harmonious relationship among members of staff, love, peaceful co-existence and dedication to duties in order to move the ministry forward.
The Commissioner, who emphasised the need for all to be thankful in all situations said appreciating God attracts more blessings and favour.
While assuring staff of the management readiness to reward hard work, the ministry boss prayed God to grant Governor Adegboyega Oyetola led administration and his cabinet members the wherewithal to move the state forward.
In their separate Christian and Muslim prayers, the Director Grassroots and Public Enlightenment, Pastor Raphael Ojo and Mr. Jimoh Suraj requested God to grant the state and its constituents, the ministry, including the political head and career officers and workers a prosperous new year.
They advised members of staff in the ministry to be thankful at all times, do good to those around them and rely on God the distributor of all treasures.
The prayer session afforded the gathering the opportunity to observe corporate prayer for the present administration in the state to steer the ship of the state to safety.
