Trouble has caught up with Halimat Adenike Tejuosho. The City Boy Movement has stripped her of her role as South-West Zonal Coordinator of its Women Wing, hours after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission declared her wanted over alleged fraud.

In a swift move, the group’s management announced Tejuosho’s immediate suspension, pending the outcome of investigations and any legal proceedings.

“This step is essential to safeguard the image of the Movement and to allow the ongoing investigation to proceed without interference, obstruction, or undue influence,” the official statement read.

The Movement called the suspension a necessary administrative measure to protect its integrity, credibility, and ethical standards, insisting it will not allow due process to be hindered.

Doubling down on its stance, the group declared zero tolerance for misconduct, criminality, or any act capable of dragging its name through the mud. It said all officials are held to the highest standards of accountability, discipline, and public conduct.

The City Boy Movement reiterated its commitment to transparency, responsible leadership, and national development, stressing that respect for the rule of law sits at the core of its operations.

For Tejuosho, the embattled businesswoman, the fall has been fast. Once a zonal power broker, she now faces both an EFCC manhunt and exile from a movement keen to cut ties before the scandal spreads.
