The Edo State Working Committe of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked the state chairman of the party, Dr Tony Aziegbemi, to immediately constitute a three-member committee to look into the crisis rocking the Orhionmwon local government chapter of the party.
In a statement on Friday, after the State Working Committee meeting that held at the state party secretariat in Benin City, the Edo State capital, members resolved in a motion that the state chairman, Dr Aziegbemi should, as a matter of urgency, set up a three-member committee to look into the challenges facing the local government.
The committee is to invite leaders of the local government chapter as well as some members of the LGA executive and report back to the state working Committee within 14 days.
