The wife of the Anambra Governor, Dr Nonye Soludo, has urged Nigerians to embrace love, kindness, and unity as they celebrate Easter.
This is contained in her Easter message on Sunday in Awka.
She said the resurrection of Christ symbolises God’s unconditional love for humanity and His triumph over death.
Soludo urged Christians to reflect on the essence of the season by showing compassion to others and extending a helping hand to those in need.
According to her, Easter offers an opportunity for individuals to share with others, regardless of how little they have, noting that genuine acts of kindness are the true expression of Christ’s sacrifice.
“Let your actions bring smiles to others and reflect the significance of Christ’s death and resurrection for the redemption of mankind,” she said.

Soludo also emphasised the need to foster unity and peaceful coexistence within communities.
The governor’s wife prayed that the light and grace of Christ’s resurrection would abide in families, communities, and the nation at large.
She advised Nigerians to celebrate responsibly and prioritise their safety, health, and well-being during the holiday
