Drama As Woman Accuses Edo Lawmaker Of Unpaid Campaign Loan (Video)

There was a scene in Edo State after a woman accused a member of the House of Representatives, Billy Osawaru, of failing to repay a loan allegedly taken during his election campaign.

In a video circulating on social media, the woman, whose face was not shown, could be heard confronting the lawmaker and calling him a “betrayal.” She claimed she had given him money to support his campaign but had yet to be paid back.

While the woman continued to make the allegations, Osawaru, whose face appeared in the video, was heard denying the claim, insisting that he does not owe her any money.

The video has since sparked reactions online, with users divided over the situation. While some expressed support for the woman, others questioned the circumstances surrounding the claim.

GWG.ng reports that the incident comes amid a separate controversy involving Tracy Ohiri, who had earlier accused David Umahi of owing her money. Ohiri initially apologised for the claim but later reversed her stance, insisting that the debt was real.
