“Revolution Now” convener, Omoyele Sowore, on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, took the Abuja Magistrate Court in Wuse zone 2 by storm when he arrived in company with a herbalist.
The former presidential candidate in the 2019 general election was arrested by the Police around Gudu District of Abuja on New Year’s eve for leading a protest against bad governance in Nigeria.
He was subsequently arraigned together with four colleagues of his by the Federal Government.
They were arraigned on a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, unlawful assembly, and attempt to incite others to a revolution.
Sowore and four others were in January 2021, each admitted to bail in the sum of N20 million by the Magistrates’ Court sitting in Wuse Zone II, Abuja.
