Amid the glitches admitted to by the Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board [JAMB], Professor Ish’aq Oloyede and the decision to rectify the errors, students of Dominion Science Academy in the ancient city of Owo, exhibited a dominant performance, making the school management and their parents proud.
THE CONCLAVE further reports that the privately-run school, which is science-based, has had a consistent record of academic excellence in Ondo State, posting impressive records in all exams including JSSCE, SSSCE, and UTME.
The school is reputed for keeping fidelity to updated academic curricula that prepare the students for rigorous teaching and learning processes that have always produced remarkable results.
An investigation by THE CONCLAVE indicated that the Chairman/Proprietor of the school, Mr Saka Hassan, a Deeper Life pastor, ensures academic discipline in the school, training the students to imbibe the ethos of “dignity in labour.”
Unlike many schools where sorting is encouraged to aid students’ success in examinations, especially Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE), it is an egregious anathema in Dominion Science Academy, Owo, to engage in the despicable act.
In his reaction to the performance of his students, Mr Hassan, in a chat with THE CONCLAVE, thanked the Almighty God, the management staff members and the studious students for the impressive results the school recorded in the 2025 UTME.
According to him, “We have every reason to be grateful to God, and to thank the crop of dedicated teachers and our students for their commitment to teaching and learning respectively.
“We have remained sharply-focused on building a reputation of excellence in our educational offerings to students and their parents who crave robust teaching/learning in the sciences. We set up this school on the foundation of producing well-trained science students. The teaching of science courses has been our forte, and we thank God that our investment in terms of impartation of knowledge is receiving concomitant results.”
