A former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, is maintaing a commanding lead in the sorting of votes by the Electoral Committe of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Primary Election and Special Convention.
After the sorting of votes, the total votes polled by each aspirant will be counted to determine the number of votes scored.
As the sorting is progressing, Tinubu remains dominant. He is apparently widening the gap between him and the rest aspirants.
Vice-president Yemi Osinbajo and former Minister of Transportation Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi are possibly running neck and neck in pursuit of Tinubu.
But the gap is huge, seemingly wide enough and still widening as to predict a Tinubu emergence as the APC standard bearer in the 2023 presidential poll.
