The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tokunbo Abiru, has been declared the winner of Lagos East senatorial bye-election.
The election was conducted in the state on Saturday, December 5, 2020.
Reports filtered in that the Independent National Electoral Commission had announced that Abiru received a total of 89,204 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Babatunde Gbadamosi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who garnered 11,257 votes.
