Heavy shooting broke out at Balogun International market, Alaba, Ojo, Lagos as policemen from Area E, Festac, invaded the market.
The policemen shot indiscriminately, causing people to scamper for safety.
The Chief Security Officer, CSO, of the market was quoted in a report by Vanguard newspaper that the invasion was aimed at foisting an illegal leadership on the market association.
The CSO was reportedly running far away from the market while responding to questions on phone.
