It appears that the entire Rivers State is hostile to the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the governorship campaign of its candidate, Tony Cole, has again been attacked, this time round, in Opobo.
Reports from Opobo in Rivers State said that the campaign team and other party faithful are now calling from safety after they were dispersed by crackling sounds of gunshots.
Reports said that the attack appeared like a big siege that was laid to the venue as gunshots echoed and re-echoed ceaselessly.
Campaign members who are in Opobo, the venue of APC campaign, said that vehicles of some of their people had already been destroyed while they kept hearing gunshots and unable to leave due to fear of unknown. (truebluereporters)
