Deloitte says Tinubu was never in its employment records

Deloitte LLP in New York in the United States of America said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu was not in the company’s record as having once worked for it.

Although, Deloitte did not give other particulars of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu mentioned in its letter, it is believed the enquirer wanted certain information about a former Lagos governor and presidential standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

In a September 20, 2022 reply to Mr Matthew J. Kowals of Leay, Einsenberg and Fraeckel Limited, Deloitte said: “We received a subpoena dated November 16, 2022 seeking employment records for Bola Ahmed Tinubu SSN**-**-0595 DOB 03/29/19*. Please, be advised that we have no record of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in our systems, and as such have no employment records for them.”

Meanwhile, Bola Ahmed Tinubu had in an interview with THE NEWS claimed to have worked for Deloitte and Touche.
