The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Sunday night, announced 555 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 40,532 cases
The Centre said 2 new deaths were recorded in the country as the deaths figure also increased from 856 on Saturday night to 858 on Sunday night.
The data from the health agency also revealed that 17,374 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
