The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 438 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 39,977 cases
The Centre said 12 new deaths were recorded in the country as the deaths figure also increased from 845 on Friday night to 856 on Saturday night.
The data from the health agency also revealed that there were 22,173 active cases in the country, while 16,948 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
