The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced 324 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-115, FCT-110, Kaduna-57, Taraba-9, Akwa Ibom-8, Plateau-6, Bauchi-4, Ekiti-4, Kano-4, Katsina-4 and Rivers-3.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,179.
The data from the agency disclosed that 176 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 64,467 while 2,981 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Friday included 70 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
