The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 310 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that FCT had the highest record of the new cases with-128, Lagos-86, Kaduna-26, Katsina-20, Rivers-19, Oyo-7, Benue-5, Edo-5, Jigawa-5, Ogun-5, Bayelsa-2, Kano-2.
The agency said one new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,179 on Friday to 1,180 on Saturday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 183 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 64,650 while 3,107 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Saturday included 128 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
