Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Tuesday night, announced 252 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 52,800 cases.
The data from the health agency showed that 3 persons died due the pandemic in the country within the last 24 hours as deaths figure increased from 1,004 on Monday to 1,007 on Tuesday.
It added that there were 11,829 active cases while 39,964 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
NCDC noted that discharge record includes 528 community recoveries over the last four weeks reported from Ondo State in line with new case management guidelines.
