The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 246 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-66, Plateau-63, FCT-48, Kaduna-21, Bayelsa-19, Rivers-12, Niger-9, Ogun-4, Ekiti-2, Bauchi-1 and Osun-1.
The agency said one new death occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,165 on Friday to 1,166 Saturday.
The data from the agency disclosed that 102 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 61,884 while 3,178 cases were still active in the country.
