Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced 212 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 61,194 cases.
The agency said three new deaths occurred in the country in last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,116 on Thursday night to 61,194 on Friday night.
The data from the agency disclosed that 110 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,771 were still active cases while a total of 52,304 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-85, Oyo-72, FCT-21, Ogun-11, Plateau-11, Katsina-6, Kaduna-5 and Osun-1.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria-61,194.
Total discharged cases- 52,304.
Total deaths- 1,119.
