Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 162 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 54,905 cases.
The agency also confirmed 3 new deaths as the deaths figure increased from 1,051 on Friday night to 1,054 deaths on Saturday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with 53, follow by Gombe-21, Oyo-19, Delta-12, Ondo-11 and Plateau-10.
Others are Ebonyi-9, FCT-6, Kwara-6, Kaduna-5, Rivers-3, Ogun-2, Anambra-2, Imo-2 and Ekiti-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that there were 10,929 active cases while 42,922 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
