Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 136 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 58,198 cases.
The agency also confirmed three new deaths in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,103 on Friday night to 1,106 on Saturday night.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-41, Ogun-27, Rivers-19, Abia-10, Oyo-6, Plateau-6, Bauchi-5, Ondo-5, Ekiti-4, Kaduna-4, Edo-3, Ebonyi-2, Bayelsa-1, Delta-1, Osun-1and Yobe-1.
The data from the health agency disclosed that 116 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,370 were still active cases while a total of 49,722 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
