COVID-19 Updates: NCDC confirms 113 new cases, four new deaths

Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 113 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 61,307 cases.

The agency said four new deaths occurred in the country in last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure increased from 1,119 on Friday night to 1,123 on Saturday night.

The data from the agency disclosed that 4,253 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 3,627 were still active cases while a total of 56,557 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.

NCDC said the discharges on Saturday night included 4,161 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with new case management guidelines.

The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-37, Kaduna-16, Ogun-11, Plateau-11, Taraba-8, Rivers-7, FCT-6, Enugu-4, Niger-4, Edo-3, Delta-2, Imo-2, Benue-1 and Kano-1.
