Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday night, announced 126 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 59,127 cases.
The agency said there was no new death in the country within the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,112.
The data from the agency disclosed that 141 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 7,422 were still active cases while a total of 50,593 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-62, Rivers-22, Ogun-9, Plateau-7, FCT-7, Osun-5, Kwara-5, Taraba-3, Bayelsa-2, Abia-2, Zamfara-1 and Imo-1.
