Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night, announced 118 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 61,558 cases.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,125.
The data from the agency disclosed that 86 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours, 3,736 were still active cases while a total of 56,697 patients had been successfully managed and discharged.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-51, Rivers-26, Imo-12, Osun-8, Plateau-6, FCT-5, Kaduna-4, Ogun-3, Edo-2, and Niger-1.
