The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Saturday night, announced 110 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.
The health agency disclosed that Lagos had the highest record of the new cases with-26, FCT-23, Kaduna-20, Katsina-11, Ogun-7, Ekiti-6, Plateau-5, Rivers-4, Kano-3, Nasarawa-3 and Niger-2.
The agency said no new deaths occurred in the country in the last 24 hours, as the total fatality figure stood at 1,171.
The data from the agency disclosed that 133 patients were discharged in the last 24 hours as the figure of discharged cases stood at 62,819 while 3,340 cases were still active in the country.
NCDC explained that the discharges on Friday included 70 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.
Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 67,330.
Total discharged case – 62,819.
Total deaths – 1,171.
